Governor Ferguson condemns Trump Administration’s termination of $1.1B in energy grant funding across Washington

OLYMPIA – Today Governor Bob Ferguson condemned the Trump Administration’s termination of more than $1.1 billion in funding for energy projects across Washington state. Among the targeted funding is $1 billion for the Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Hub, a critical project that will build out a clean hydrogen economy, create over 10,000 jobs, and lower emissions in technologies that are among the hardest to decarbonize.

OLYMPIA — Today Governor Bob Ferguson announced an executive order that reaffirms Washington’s commitment to protecting immigrant communities and their rights, including their right to data privacy. Executive Order 25-09 creates the Immigration Sub-Cabinet, which promotes coordination among state agencies on issues related to immigration. This builds on and formalizes existing coordination and work to support immigrant families, including the governor’s Family Separation Rapid Response Team.
