Governor Inslee announces appointment of Scott Gallina to the Hells Canyon Circuit Superior Court

ASOTIN – Gov. Jay Inslee was in Asotin today to announce that he is appointing Scott Gallina to the Hells Canyon Circuit Supreme Court, which represents Asotin, Garfield and Columbia counties.

Mr. Gallina is currently a Judge Pro Tem for Asotin County District Court and has more than 20 years of trial experience in the Asotin County area. He is also currently a Asotin, Columbia and Garfield County Superior Courts Commissioner.

“Scott’s diverse background of legal experience more than meets the expectations for this position, and he goes above and beyond the expectations for what a public servant should be,” said Gov. Inslee. “I look forward to Scott’s service on the bench, and know he will carry out his new role with honor and integrity.”

Mr. Gallina is replacing Judge Bill Acey who retired at the end of April after serving with distinction for 13 years. Judge Acey served the Asotin County area for 31 years in both the District Court and the prosecutor’s office before joining the Superior Court.
