“I am horrified and dismayed to hear about the shooting in Seattle tonight. We grieve for the one individual confirmed dead in the shooting, and wish a full and speedy recovery to those who were injured.
“I know Seattle Police are doing everything they can to find the perpetrator, and I join Mayor Durkan and Chief Best in urging anyone with possible information about this shooting to call the tip line at (206) 233-5000.”
