Gov. Jay Inslee today amended emergency proclamation 21-12 (WSDOT Heat Damage) to add Chelan County to the list of counties that suffered severe heat-related damage to their transportation systems. This brings the total number of counties that suffered similar heat-related damage to 19.
The emergency order directs state agencies and department to utilize state resources to do everything reasonably possible to assist these counties in an effort to respond to and recover from the damage caused by the severe heat.
